Teaching Philosophy

As everything in this class, this has evolved. This is what it comes down to. Why I want to be a teacher, and what I think my role is. All of that encompassed in a few sentences.

Basically I believe in the power of dreams, and working hard to accomplish those dreams, and I want to share that with my students, regardless of their age. I want to help them find their passion, and show them how they can get whatever they want in life if they really work for it.

I also believe in a better world, and this is why I want to help my students understand the flaws of our society, and come up with new ways of living, through the use of critical thinking.

This teaching philosophy reflects that.

"My philosophy as a teacher, is that my most important function is to instill creativity and self-motivation in my students. This tactic develops their imagination and nurtures their belief in their ability to construct and achieve their dreams. Students must realize that the best way to accomplish their dreams is through hard work and persistence. It is also essential to educate students on the realities of the world we live in, and their potential role in making it a better place for us, and for future generations."
